Water world
The Water world is a complex of pools using water from the thermal hole. The water is regulated through water regulation system in such a way so that it is meets all the necessary hygiene and health criteria (favourable effect on the locomotion system). Thermal spring Hévíz (27 °C), which rises from the depth of 200 m, belongs to the chain of Danube springs emerging near Patince and ending at Margita Island in Budapest.
Water temperature in pools varies from 30 to 36 °C. Part of a great relaxation pool, which is used for regeneration and relaxation purposes (water temperature 30 – 31 °C), are water attractions – hydro massage, massage water cannons, massage water beds, counter flow, water cave, water massage mushroom, whirlpool (water temperature 34 °C). Whirlpool has a sedative and calming effect; it relieves muscle tonus and psychical stress. It is used in regeneration of locomotion system, to improve the perfusion of limbs and the whole body, as well as in sleep disorders. Children will enjoy their time in children swimming pool with toboggan (water temperature 32 °C). Just one floor above, they can have fun by playing in children play area.
One of the compartments of the Water world is a sitting relaxation pool with the water temperature of 36 °C, which is separated from the main pool. Relaxation pool bath in the thermal water with the temperature of 36 °C has a sedative effect, and it supports the delivery of heat to the limbs, which are normally always colder. An increase of the body temperature leads to a considerable acceleration of biochemical processes in organism – increase in oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production, improvement in elasticity of muscles, ligaments and connective tissues, while at the same time muscle tonus decreases and skin perfusion and body core increases as a consequence of the heat acquired. Thermal water has also very favourable effect on locomotion system.
